Apr. 22nd, 2009 08:36 pmA nice change from just lemon meringue pie and actually rather easy. I think a stronger filling would make it better (add more zest). I would also recommend chilling the pie a little before serving. Trying to cut it at room temperature was a little messy with the crust.

Let me say that the flavour of this cake is all orange. The olive oil makes it wonderfully moist, and it's simple and quick (cooking time not included).
I've also used this recipe to make a delicious lemon poppyseed cake by switching out the orange for lemon and adding 1/4 cup or so of poppy seeds.

Chocolate Cake à l'Orange

Orange Scones
Sep. 29th, 2007 07:10 pmA simple recipe that comes together pretty quickly in a food processor. You can also switch out the orange for lemon, or add fruit--I've done lemon blueberry before.
