I made a couple modifications to a different recipe to turn it into amazing shortbread - it's buttery, melt-in-your-mouth soft but crispy and just. So good. They are delicate, so handle with care!

These are delicious as is but can be flavoured in a variety of ways. I've added lime zest and mini white chocolate chips or orange zest and mini semisweet chocolate chips...both delicious combinations.

Delicious peanut butter and brown sugar shortbread squares. For instructions on making pretty individual cookies instead of baking the whole thing in a pan, check out the link to the original at the bottom of the post. Otherwise, I've modified the recipe to be quicker and more lazy-approved. >:|b
